Day wise tour itinerary

Day 01
Day 01 : Bangalore

On arrival at the Bangalore airport /railway station, our company representative will meet and welcome you and escort to the hotel. After a swift check-in at the hotel, our agent will hand over a special welcome kit, give details of the itinerary and comfort you for the trip ahead. In the afternoon, you will proceed for a local tour of Bangalore.

Bangalore is officially known as Bengaluru and was built by King Kempe Gowda. The city has numerous places of interest, like Cubbon Park, Lalbagh, Tipu’s Fort, Government Museum, Art Gallery, Bull Temple, Viswesvaraya Museum, Ulsoor Tank, and Gavipuram Cave Temple. In the evening, you can head to the famous stretches of MG Road and Brigade Road for a quick trip. Forum Mall, Garuda Mall, and Mantri Mall are some malls, where you can find all kinds of International brands for shopping. Later, have you dinner and enjoy stay at the hotel.

Day 02
Day 02 : Bangalore – Coorg

Early morning, you will have breakfast at hotel and proceed for a drive to Coorg. On the way to Coorg, you will have a visit of Srirangapatna and Mysore. In the evening, arrive in Coorg and enjoy the night at hotel.

Day 03
Day 03 : Coorg

Have early breakfast and proceed for a full day tour of Coorg and surrounding areas. Coorg was called as Merkara, which is the capital of Kodagu district of Karnataka. Kodagu offers an interesting variety of landscape, and the inhabitants of the district called the Kodabas, who are a race of soldiers. The local tour of Coorg includes Omkareshwara Temple and Raja’s site, Tibetan colony, Nisargadhama, Dubare forest, Veera Bhumi, Bagamandala & Talacauvery. Talacauvery is 35 kms away Coorg via Bagamandala and is the source of Cauvery river. In the evening, you will return to hotel for dinner and stay.

Day 04
Day 04 : Coorg – Mysore

Have early breakfast and proceed for a drive for Mysore. Mysore was the capital of Wadiyar dynasty and is renowned for its ivory work, sandalwood carving and silk. After checking in hotel in Mysore, you will proceed for a local tour. Here, you will visit Srirangapatna Tipu’s summer palace, Sri Ranganathar Swamy Temple, Gumbaz, Mysore Zoo, Mysore Palace, Rail mesuem, and Chamundi hills. In the evening, proceed for spectacular Brindavan lighting show .This picturesque garden have been conscientiously laid out in beautiful cascades. The gardens have a profusion of brightly colored blossoms and enchanting fountains, musical fountains and wings for children. Later, return back to hotel for night stay.

Day 05
Day 05 : Mysore – Ooty

Early morning, you will have breakfast and proceed to Ooty, which is called as “Queen of Hill stations “. On the way to Ooty, you will visit Bandipur forest and Mudumalai forest Ooty is located in the Nilgiris, where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet. On arrival at Ooty, you will check-in at the resort. In the evening, you can go for a boat ride on the Ooty Lake and shopping at Bazaar Street. Overnight stay at resort!

Day 06
Day 06 : Ooty (Local tour) – Coonoor – Ooty

Early morning, you will have breakfast at hotel and proceed for an excursion to Coonoor in a Toy train. Coonoor is 17 kms far from Ooty. The main attraction of Coonoor is SIM’s park. You can also visit Dolphin’s nose among other attractions. Later, you will return back to Ooty. In the afternoon, proceed for a local tour of Ooty, where you can visit Botanical garden .Green carpet of well maintained lawns always attract the visitors, who are inclined to relax. Later, you can visit mini garden, which is also called as children’s lake garden and is on the way to boat house. Finally, visit Rose Garden, Art Gallery, Government Museum, Wenlock Downs, and other views. Overnight stay at Ooty resort!

Day 07
Day 07 : Ooty – Kodaikanal

Early morning, you will have breakfast at hotel and take to drive to Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is located in the western crest of Palani hills. Here, you can visit all the tourist places in walking distance. Kodaikanal means a cool resting place in summer evening, so the pleasure is for all to enjoy. On arrival, you will check-in at the resort and stay the night.

Day 08
Day 08 : Kodaikanal

Early morning, you will have breakfast at hotel and proceed for a local tour of Kodaikanal. You will visit the Kodai Lake, which is a star shaped lake spread over 24 hectares. Boating and fishing are the main pulls of the lake. Later, you will visit Bryant Park, Solar Observatory, and Coaker’s Walk, which is a semi-circular beautiful path overlooking the plains. The view from here is simply captivating. Later, take a visit to the Kurinji Addavar Temple, Telescope House, Green Valley View Point, Pillar Rocks, and Waterfalls. Evening is free for shopping with overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09
Day 09 : Kodaiakanal – Bangalore/Coimbatore

This is the last day of your tour. You will be transferred to nearby airport to return back home with satisfied memories of South India.
